Life story
June 26, 1967

Alicia Romero was born Alicia Rojas in Bakersfield, California on June 26th, 1967.

She was born into a family with built in playmates in her 4 older siblings, Sally, Jose, Maria, Johnny and one to follow her, Leticia.

Her parents, Jose and Zenaida, filled their home with love, laughter and religion.

She was only 3 when her family moved to the Fallbrook area where she attended Bonsall Elementary and Fallbrook High Schools. She was a talented soccer player throughout high school and for years afterwards playing in club traveling teams.

She met Jaime, her husband in 1987 and they dated for 6 years before getting married and settling down in Rancho Penasquitos.

The greatest joys in her life were her two children Lucas, age 10 and Lisette, age 6.

One of her hobbies was scrapbooking and with all the photos she took of the children and family, she had plenty to keep her busy.

She had a zest for life and was always up for an adventure. In 2007 she traveled to Spain with her sister Maria and friends. June of 2008 she enjoyed a trip to the southwest with her husband, children, two sisters and their children where she hiked part of the famous Zion Narrows.

The privilege of keeping her memory alive is an honor we can all share.
