It's hard to know where to start here when all I've been thinking about are the memories Alicia and I have made together.  We made so many memories in the 4 short years we knew each other.  We always had a good laugh when one of us would bring up the fact that we sat next to each other for nearly a year before we started talking.  After that point there was no stopping us.  We both said "if we had known how great of friends we were gonna be we would have never waited that long".  It's hard to pin point one good memory when there are so many.  What I will always cheerish and pull from my memory in a time of reflection is how she adopted us into her family since ours was so far away.  We were always being invited to the beach or a Barbeque or (my favorite) a birthday party!  I remember the first family birthday party I attended, when the cake was brought out everyone in the family started singing at different times.  I don't think I ever sang cause I was in awe.  From then on I was excited to go to a birthday party for that reason!  Alicia and I had the ability to give the other a gut busting laugh, the kind where you should run to the bathroom before you pee yourself and all of our inside jokes that would occasonionally bring on a snort laugh!  I will always remember our movie date night, shopping trips, lunchs, walks, and of course the Vegas Trip! These are the kinds of things I will remember her for.  These are the kinds of memories true friendships give us.  She will alway's have a piece of my heart....

Alicia,

I have known you only from your professional side here at PMG  for about 5 years.

You always impressed me as a real  "power-knowledge" woman, who gave clear and solid answers! I  could trust your response a 100%. You have left in our billing company a quite impressive earthly footprint with your work ethic!!!

Your billing division is dearly missing you and your quality and quantity of work you handled so easily....

I  also will miss your quiet presence, but feel some comfort, that your soul has been liberated from your aching body. I can feel it in my heart,  that the knowledge you have gained in your short life, will be put to good use by you, in your new life on the other side......

I feel so fortunate to have known Alicia.  I have considered her a friend since the time we started working together in the mid 90's in iDr Kaplan's office.  I remember the day you started working with us as if it were yesterday.  You started in the front office and I remember calling you while you were in the hospital, after delivering Luke, and asking you if you wanted to move into the Business Office as a biller.  You were somewhat hesitent but I told you I would "teach you".  One of your stipulations for moving in the office with me was that I put the radio station on Jeff and Jer!  I agreed, and am very glad I did.  We worked side by side until we moved over to PMG.  That was an uneasy time for both of us but we both agreed sometime later that it was an "ok" move.  We both were okay!!  After our move, I missed sitting shoulder to shoulder with you and sharing stories and laughs.

Probably my favorite memory of time spent with Alicia was when she, Mary and I took my daughter Taylor to a RICKY MARTIN concert.  He was all the rage at the time...the "hot" guy in entertainment.  W e used the "excuse" that we were "taking Taylor" all the while we knew we all wanted to see him as much as Taylor did!  We had excellant seats and we joked that we were so close we could see his sweat!  For days after, anytime someone mentioned the concert, all Alicia would say was "Oh, my gosh"!!

I will miss you my friend, but I know you are in good hands...Peace be with you...
